WHY THIS NOTICE

This page describes how this site processes personal data belonging to the users who consult it.
This notice is given pursuant to Art. 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – regarding the protection of personal data of those who interact with web services.
This notice is also prompted by Recommendation no. 2/2001 which the EU authorities for the protection of personal data, as a result of Art. 29 of EU Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to establish the minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data, and, in particular, the manner, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the link.

The consultation of this site may be followed by the processing of the data regarding identified or identifiable
users.

LOCATION WHERE THE DATA IS PROCESSED

The processing operations connected to the web services of this website take place at the headquarters of the company which owns this website and are only handled by the technical staff in charge of processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations.

No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated to third parties.
The personal data provided by users who request informational material (bulletins, CD-ROMs, newsletters, annual reports, answers to questions, actions and measures, etc.) is only used to perform the service or action requested and is communicated to third parties only where necessary for that purpose.

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Visitors and log-in data

The computer systems and software procedures used to manage this website acquire, during normal operation, some personal data the transmission of which is implicit in Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to identify users, but by their very nature could, through processing and associations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the response file, the numerical code indicating the status of the response provided by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and computer environment.
This data is used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct operation and is then deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site but, except for this possibility, visitors’ data is not kept for more than seven days.

Information provided voluntarily by the user

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this website leads to the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Specific summary information will be progressively available or displayed on web pages dedicated to particular on-demand services.

COOKIES

No personal user data is acquired by the website. We do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are the so-called persistent cookies or systems of any kind to trace users used. The use of the so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the safe and efficient consultation of the website.
The so-called session cookies used in this website prevent the use of other technologies that could compromise the privacy of users and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

OPTIONAL ENTRY OF PERSOANAL DATA

Apart from what was specified for the browsing data above, the user is free to provide personal data included in the Site request forms or through contacts with the different departments to request informational material or other communications.
The failure to provide that information may make it impossible to fulfil the request.
In some cases (not the object of the ordinary administration of this website) the Authority can request information pursuant to Art. 157 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases a response by the company is obligatory under penalty of a fine.

TREATMENT PROCESS

Personal data is processed by automated applications only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or improper use, or unauthorized access.

USERS’ RIGHTS

At any time, the subjects the personal data refers to have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or lack thereof of such data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, and request that it be supplemented, updated, or corrected (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
Pursuant to this Article users have the right to request the cancellation, transformation into an anonymous form, or blocking of the data processed in violation of the governing law, and in any case, to oppose their processing for legitimate reasons.
Requests should be directed to the company that owns the site in question.
